Felix Felicis
When I started my blog, my intentions were just to maintain a online diary or something of that sort. It was long back, and believe me there would have been more posts had I stopped finding excuses to now write anything. A lot of tides had turned and leaves had been shed in all these years, and I have decided to do away with the excuses. But to do so I have to become something else, I have to become someone else. And the thing I need most is a few droplets of the lucky potion.
For the last few years there were many incidents that one could only guess. But the thing that provided me with all the enthusiasm and energy to blog was the 'wisdom' I got from the 'old monk' speaking through the fictional characters of tv series and movies. Bizarre it may seems but trust me, sitting alone in a dark room with monk and watching all the characters works better than a session with a therapist. Suddenly you are better man totally in control of your emotions and actions. Suddenly every hurdle gives you more strength to jump, every barrier tells you to be more powerful. You start to see through yourself and start making amends for every mistake you made. The poisonous past then turns out to be the life giving elixir. You start to see opportunities and threats, and realize that you have to take both victory and defeat in your stride. So you collect your ruins and turn them into the building blocks of the future.
We see successful people all around us. We envy some and we loathe some. But what we don't see is the story behind each of them. Similarly each one of us have a story to tell too. All we need is a little motivation and willpower to take us to that higher level where we will find some audience who would listen to our story. Till then, we have to simply stay focused and work hard.
